1, 2, 3 – Burt Dam

Well today marked the first catches for me for Fall fishing. I went out twice to The Oak to no avail. Salmon continously popped my line. Not a big fan of Salmon anyways. Salmon are on their way out and the browns and steelhead are frolicking around. Today Maury and I went up to Burt Dam where it was somewhat packed but was able to land these 3 puppies. Great Day, lowers 30’s and overcast. Not to mention running into the “Virginia crew” that the DEC nailed for snagging and made go to court right away! It was great when they received a round of applause from everyone in the stream while walking away with the officers. Til next time.

Go DEC! That must have been something to see those guys get caught. Looks like some nice fish too. Down here I have not been able to find a good trout in Beaver County, but if I travel 40 minutes north up into Amish Country I am able to land some nice rainbows upwards of 14”.

    Tight Lines. – andy
